"Discipline is the bridge between goals + accomplishments." - Jim Rohn
Ok, great... but how do you stay disciplined in your biz when you also have a full-time job, a bunch of kids, a house to keep clean, and a to-do list that never seems to end? Look, I get it. I worked as a teacher in the beginning stages of building this business. I had another baby and juggled parenting through a pandemic. Our house might not be the cleanest on the block but it's also not going to be featured on some reality TV show about the messiest homes in Canada 🤣
Here are our 4 top tips for improving your self-discipline while you build your business.
✨ Remove distractions. Want to improve your focus while you work? Put your phone on airplane mode + install the SelfControl app on your computer to block distraction websites for a set period of time. You don't have to willpower your way through work hours when there are tools to support you!
✨ Schedule breaks + rewards. Working on writing a book? Treat yours...
These tools are EVERYTHING 🙌 I’m not kidding when I say that we could not have built a multiple seven-figure business without these resources (especially coffee 😍☕️ - the real MVP)
✨ ClickUp is where we organize all of our recurring to-do lists for our team. If it’s not in ClickUp, chances are I’ll forget to do it. This could be a great tool to track your own daily power hours or tasks that you want your virtual assistant to do on a weekly basis.
✨ We organize our IG in Trello - from hashtag lists to post planning, it’s all in Trello. We also create to-do lists for our clients in Trello!
✨ I probably can’t explain my love for Canva in an Instagram caption… But let me say that Canva Pro is an amazing investment for your business and it will take things like your recognition graphics to the NEXT LEVEL.
✨ Coffee because I launched my first challenge group guide when I found out I was pregnant with our youngest and I haven’t slept well in 2 years 🤣
✨ Slack is where we do all of our te...

I never appreciated audio books until I became a mom and suddenly, every book I tried to sit down and read got ripped or covered in sticky fingers.
Audible costs less than $20 a month and each month, you get 1 credit to exchange for a audio book, no matter the price. You can listen anywhere, anytime - the gym, while you're doing laundry, in the car... Plus, listening to an author read their own book is amazing.
📚 USE THE LIBRARY, Y'ALL!
I mean, it's free - or low-cost, depending on where you live. You can put books on hold and they'll bring them to the library closest to your house. If you feel like you cannot afford to get a new book or you're struggling to commit to something, the library is the place to go.
📚 SCHEDULE READING INTO YOUR LIFE

From April 5th to 7th, I attended Kajabi's Impact Summit in Irvine, California. I had no idea what to expect and walked away from the weekend with pages and pages of notes, with ideas and inspiration for how I wanted to continue to build my business. I wanted to share my own top takeaways, in hopes of inspiring you to reflect on your business and where you want it to go (and how you want to get there).
